In 1889 they moved to the Mix farm on the Maple Road, Wilson as tenants, until the heirs to the property decided to sell at auction at the COUnty Clerk's Office in Lockport, 9 uly 1899. Their youngest daughter decided to be born that morning so Alex had to send his hired hand, Hi Hamblin, to bid for him. They lived there until their death.

Marietta married Alexander "Alex" McClellan on 10 Jan 1883 in Sears's Homestead, Fuller Rd by Rev Ward B Pickard. Alexander died 12 Jun 1947 and was buried in Wright's Corners Cemetery.

Later she attended summer session at the UNiversity of Vermont, State Normal College at Ypsilanti, MI and several summers at the University of California, SOuthern Branch at Los Angeles, CA. Later as a summer work she organized and conducted tours to many places including Yellowstone National Park, Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon, Banff, Lake Louise, the West Coast from Canada to Mexico, Hawaii, Panama Canal, Nassau, Bermuda, etc... She retired from the Niagra Falls School System after many years of teaching. Unmarried.

Cleary: He worked with his father on the home farm on Maple Road. He served with Company D, 307 INfantry, 77th Division in WW I. He was with the American Expeditionary Forces in France and was gassed while in the Argonne-Forest. He came home on a hospital ship in Dec 1918. he still owns the farm on Maple Road, having deeded the house and one acre of land to his nephew, Wallace Goodman. He never married.

Cleary: They lived at the corner of Fuller and Drake Settlement Roads in the house formerly occupied by his grandmother Ann Eliza Sears Miller (known as Grandma Miller). The house was remodeled and greatly improved. Burt was an excellent farmer and butcher.
