Phone conversation with Jane Mitchell, 9 The Byway, Bronxville, NY, 10708. She is descended from one of Sally's and Ezra's eleven children. She has many letters that Sally wrote to her children, some during the Civil War. Needs proof that Sally B (Sarah Baldwin) is dau of Thomas. She has gravestone but it doesn't show relationship.

Sally married Ezra Young on 27 Mar 1810. Ezra was born 1788 in .

DSB-Entry in Sunderland town records by Isaac Brownson, and also Rev. War
Pension records for Isaac Brownson. Children come from Brownson Bible- copies
of pages included in pension records.

Huldah married Isaac Brownson. Isaac was born 1763 in Sunderland, VT. He died 18 Jul 1832 in Gainesville, Gennessee, NY.

DSB-Married by Gideon Brownson, Isaac was a widower with a 1 yr old daughter,
Elizabeth. Isaac and HUldah moved to Gainesville, Gennessee (now Wyoming co),
NY by 1818, and lived the remainder of their lives there.
He was a musician in his father's company (Col Seth Warner's Regt, of
Continental Troops)

2021. Hezekiah Sears (James , James , Silas , Silas , Richard ) was born about 1770 in , MA or CT. He died before 1819 in Caldwell Manor, Quebec and was buried in , 775.

DSB-Applied for land in Quebec at Arlington, VT, in 1786/7. Was deeded 100
acres in lot 9, 9th Con of Caldwell Manor, Quebec on 9 Oct 1789. Applied for
Sutton land in 1795, and granted land at Sutton in 1802, but sold it in 1802.
Regulations did not require that he live on this Sutton land, and I doubt
Hezekiah ever lived anywhere but Caldwell Manor. Rules in original contract
required grantees to have someone live on, and work, land for 7 years. Since
many of these grantees sold their land in 1802, I believe they actually took
up possession of the land in 1705, and after their 7 years were up (1802), they
were actually owners of it. Hezekiah lived at Caldwell Manor when he sold the
Sutton land, and when he died. Hezekiah was the father of at least 3 children-
proven on deeds. The deed when the younger Hezekiah sold his inherited land in
1834 stated-"as the same was by him inherited by right of Succession to
Hezekiah Sears, late of said Foucault, deceased, his father."

Hezekiah married Roxana.

DSB-Moved to Sutton in 1799. Hawley family records state she was the dau. of
James Sears and Elizabeth Olmsted.

Thirza married Ephraim Jr Hawley. Ephraim was born 13 Jan 1967. He died 24 Aug 1852.

DSB-Vivian West Broberg has written a book which contains info on descendants
of Lyman's one known daughter, Electa (b) 1813. Lyman had at least 9 children.

Lyman married Theresa Sagar.

none identified. may's James, Jr.[6046] could not possibly be this man, as
James Jr was enumerated at Sutton after may's James, jr. was in Indiana. I
will admit the names of May's would fit well here, but somethign is wrong.

MA-1886, says Elizabeth was from Sutton, province of Quebec. Alt d. date 5 Jul
1845.
